Choose the right kind of handoff
Saving, sharing, and exporting solve different problems. Pick the action that matches whether you want to return to the inputs, let someone else inspect them, or place dates on a calendar.
| Action | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Save locally | A plan retained in this browser, subject to its storage and current save limit |
| Share | A link that carries inputs for someone else to open |
| Upload / download a cloud copy | An explicit account action, when available |
| Export calendar | A separate file with dates; not an editable saved-plan record |
Make sure the plan really saved
Save from a valid result, give it a recognizable name where offered, then open Saved and reopen the plan. Check the restored inputs and result instead of relying only on a success notice.
Browser storage can be cleared, unavailable, or separate between profiles and devices. Current guest, account, and Pro limits are shown by the product; review Account or Pro for the current policy rather than assuming unlimited storage.
Move copies deliberately
If cloud copies are available for your account, upload or download through the displayed controls. Confirm which version you are moving. Editing a local plan is not an automatic update of every copy or previously exported file.
If a save or upload fails, keep the inputs open, read the error, and retry only after resolving it. Do not assume another device received the plan until you can open the expected copy.
Questions, answered
Will a local save appear on my phone?
Not automatically. Local saves are browser-specific. Use a share link or an explicit cloud-copy action where available, then verify the result on the other device.
Will changing my plan update an old shared link?
Create a fresh link after changing the inputs. An earlier link represents the inputs it carried when it was created.

Written for the current DateXLife controls and calculation rules. Illustrations explain the idea; your result depends on your inputs and the available data. Recheck important dates before booking.
